Bus and route safety
Boarding records, live vehicle position and route deviation alerts for every school bus you run or contract.
What it does
What it does
- Records which child boarded which bus, at which stop, at what time — by RFID card tap or attendant confirmation on a handset.
- Tracks each vehicle against its assigned route and raises an alert when it leaves the corridor or stops where it should not.
- Notifies the transport desk first, and parents only for the children on the affected vehicle.
- Produces a per-trip record the school can pull up months later when a parent asks what happened on a particular morning.
Deployment
How it is deployed
- We audit your existing vehicle trackers. AIS-140 devices already fitted for compliance usually feed Guardian directly, so most fleets need no new hardware on the bus.
- Card readers or attendant handsets are fitted per vehicle, with a two-week parallel run against the paper register before anyone relies on the digital record.
- Routes and stops are drawn with your transport in-charge, not imported from a map — the corridor has to match the road the driver actually takes.
- Contracted fleets are onboarded the same way, with the operator's consent recorded in writing.
Day to day
What the school sees
- A live map of every vehicle, with its route corridor drawn on it.
- A boarding list per trip, showing who tapped in and who did not.
- An alert queue with the reason, the vehicle, the time and the acknowledging staff member.
- A monthly summary of deviations and their resolutions, for the transport committee.
Data
What data it produces
- Boarding and alighting events per child
- 1 academic year, then deleted
- Vehicle position traces
- 90 days
- Deviation alerts and their resolutions
- 1 academic year
- Driver and attendant duty records
- As your HR policy requires
Limits
What it does not do
- It does not track a child outside the bus journey. Position data belongs to the vehicle, not the student.
- It does not share a child's location with other parents. A parent sees their own child's boarding status only.
- It does not score or rank drivers automatically. Deviation alerts go to a person, who decides what they mean.
- It does not build behavioural profiles of children. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 prohibits behavioural monitoring of anyone under 18, and that prohibition holds even with parental consent.
- It does not sell or share data with advertisers, insurers or any third party. There is no such clause in our contract because there is no such product.

Cameras that flag a gate left open or a crowd forming, and stay quiet otherwise.
Network layer security
Keep cameras and lab machines on their own segments, so one compromised device reaches nothing else.
AI lab setup
A working teaching lab: machines, curriculum-aligned projects and staff who can run it without us.
